Famous artiste Ron Ng has been active in Mainland China in recent years and became a rising star after appearing in several Mainland variety shows, gaining immense popularity in the Greater Bay Area.
Besides his acting career, behind the spotlight, Ron Ng is actually a toy-figure enthusiast. He has had a strong interest in toy-figures since a young age and deeply appreciates the craftsmanship and artwork of figure-making. Over the years, he has collected over a thousand pieces of precious toy-figures, and in 2019, he opened China’s first ever toy-figure museum in Beijing, unveiling his super rich collection of mega-rare toy-figures and sculptures.
SAGATOPIA, also known as the Utopia of Saga (Toy-Figures of Legendary Characters), is a perfect toy kingdom that exists in Ron Ng’s mind. Open from August 18 to October 22, 2023, SAGATOPIA – Exhibition of Ron Ng’s Figure-Art Collection arrives Macau as the first stop at Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre, showcasing over 300 of Ron Ng’s personal favourites and most cherished figures and sculptures, featuring superheroes from Marvel and DC Comics, Japanese animation, and Chinese historical figures and more! Not only miniature toy-figures, but 1:1 life-size wax sculptures handcrafted by sculptural artists with extraordinary skills. The ultra-fine details of the crafts include the lifelike texture of the hair and skin, perfectly replicating the appearance of numerous legendary comic characters.

Being a toy-figure enthusiast and a cat-lover, Ron Ng, inspired by his beloved cat which he adopted earlier on, specially designed a pop-toy figure – PIGPI in 2022. Don’t be fooled by its mischievous appearance, as it is actually a very responsible and manly figure! PIGPI will be presented in various forms at SAGATOPIA, from dark-styled models to fairy-pinky merchandise, stay tuned for more PIGPI surprises! The exhibition also features a special collaboration with up-and-coming Chinese pop-culture artist Wai Wai, where he will create a giant graffiti wall live at the exhibition, and together with Ron Ng, the toy-figure collector and pop artist crossover will create limited-edition specialty toys – the groundbreaking level of creativity simply reaches the pinnacle of the collectible world!
In addition to Ron Ng’s personal collection, the sculpture “One Piece – Onigashima Battle”, personally supervised by Eiichiro Oda, the legendary writer of One Piece, will arrive at SAGATOPIA, making its first ever appearance outside of Japan! The statue depicts the decisive battle of the Onigashima Island battle, showcasing the tense battle scene with over 10 characters engaged in combat. The scene revolves around the ultimate battle between Kaido and Luffy, highlighting the battle between kings and bringing to life the key battle scene of the Onigashima Island battle.
To provide audiences with a unique experience, SAGATOPIA has invited award-winning visual effects director Johnny Lin to serve as the AR visual effects consultant. He has specially designed innovative AR experiences that take visitors on a journey through various periods of history and saga, combining with physical model exhibits to create an immersive experience that blurs the line between virtual and reality. There will also be AR interactive games and check-in points, making this Asia’s the first ever figure-collection exhibition created with AR navigation technology – definitely an experience not to be missed!
In addition to the exhibition, there will also be a pop-up store at the venue, featuring SAGATOPIA’s very own souvenirs, PIGPI-themed merchandise, various limited-edition toyfigures, and Mystery Boxes, allowing figure enthusiasts to take home their favorite treasures of all kind.

Macau Tower Terms & Conditions:

- Tickets must be used on the selected date.
- Terms of Purchase
- Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded, or returned for cash or any other products or services.
- Children
- Any child aged under 11 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or above) with a valid ticket upon admission.
- Any children under 18 cannot redeem alcoholic beverages.
- Childs under 3 years old are free of charge.
- Refusal of Admission
- Macau Tower reserves the right at any time to refuse and/or terminate any visits to Macau Tower without refund or compensation
- if the visitor violates or fails to comply with the Macau Tower Rules and Regulations; or
- if the visitor performs unsafe, illegal, or offensive behavior that affects other guests or his/her own; or
- to ensure safety, security, or order; or
- if Macau Tower considers that the circumstances so require.
- Macau Tower reserves the right at any time to refuse and/or terminate any visits to Macau Tower without refund or compensation
Exhibition Terms & Conditions:
Entry Arrangements
1. Participants who purchase tickets online in advance must present a valid QR code or coupon code to redeem one physical ticket and one entry gift.
2. Participants who purchase tickets on-site at the exhibition venue may pay at the registration counter and redeem one physical ticket and one entry gift.
3. Participants who would like to purchase discounted tickets must show valid receipts or tickets from participating partners and pay to redeem one physical ticket and one entry gift.
4. Participants who bought Concession Tickets online or at the registration counter must show valid identity proof in order to redeem one physical ticket and one entry gift.
5. After exchanging for physical tickets, participants can enter the venue once during the event period, and re-entry is not allowed.
6. The last admission time is 7:00 PM (60 minutes before the exhibition closing time).
7. There is a limit on the number of visitors inside the venue, and participants may need to queue and register for entry.
8. Participants must present a valid physical ticket for entry – the ticket must be intact, with the stub not torn off and stamped by the organizer to be considered valid.
9. Tickets sold through any means and related service fees are non-refundable, nonexchangeable, and non-transferrable.
10. Children aged 11 or below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above to enter the exhibition and must be supervised at all times.
11. Children aged 3 or below do not require a ticket to enter.
12. For safety reasons, the organizer and venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry to participants who are unwell, have a fever, a cold, vomiting, or other symptoms of infectious diseases.
13. Participants must follow the entry rules and instructions of the organizer and venue staff, or they may be refused entry.
Exhibition Rules
1. Smoking and eating are not allowed in the exhibition venue.
2. To prevent accidents, please do not bring luggage with wheels, umbrellas, selfie sticks, bicycles, skateboards, dangerous or explosive items into the venue. The organizer will not provide storage space for luggage and strollers and will not be responsible for any theft, damage, or compensation.
3. Pets are not allowed in the exhibition venue, except for animals that have been certified to serve people with disabilities.
4. Participants undertake to compensate the organizer for any loss, expense, claim or liability that may be incurred by the organizer as a result of the participant’s damage to any item in the venue in any way.
5. If a typhoon or rainstorm warning signal is issued on the day of the event, please check the organizer’s official social media accounts for the latest arrangements.
6. The organizer reserves the right to change or revise the event content and arrangements without prior notice.
7. In the event of any dispute, the organizer reserves the right of final decision on all matters related to this Terms and Conditions. Participants hereby agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions.
