A
Very Merry Kidsmas
The second floor is the hub of family
fun. To celebrate the holiday season that unites family
members together, the Macau Tower presents Kidsmas
Land at the spacious Exhibition Hall featuring
robot exhibition, inflatable games, remote-control
car race and all kinds of family fun full to the brim.
The star shining at Kidsmas Land will be Qoo®
, the cute character from the Coca-Cola family. Themed
activities, game booths and photo opportunities will
create a fun-filled day for everyone. Fans must check
out Qoo® 's appearance time and get
ready for a warm greeting from the character.
National
Treasures on Exhibition
Up one level on the third floor will
guests find a precious opportunity of appreciating
China's cultural heritage. Four bronze relics, including
the bronze head of a pig, an ox, a monkey and a tiger,
which originated from the Old Summer Palace of the
Qing Dynasty and twenty carved-stone Buddha statues
from various Chinese dynasties, will be showcased
at the Macau Tower from mid to the end of December.
The exhibition featuring such exquisite relics is
presented by Macao Chinese Culture and Art Association
and Poly Art Museum. The bronze heads were once lost
and scattered outside China for over a hundred and
forty years. Thanks to Dr. Stanley Ho's generous contribution
and his effort in protecting the arts, the bronze
head of a pig is now donated to Poly Art Museum where
the ox, the monkey and the tiger are housed. These
relics symbolize the remarkable artistic creativity
of the dynasty and the stylistic crossover of Chinese-western
cultures, which was prominent in the early Qing era.
The exhibition is admission free.
Santa
Claus on Skywalk X
Meet Santa on Skywalk X at 233
metres above ground! This Christmas, Santa will greet
the Tower's daring adventurers with lots of gifts
and surprises. A free tasting of Johnnie Walker
for guests aged over 18 will keep the holiday sprit
high!
New Year's Count Down
Friends and families will cuddle each
other on the Piazza in front of the Macau Tower
at the New Year's Count Down. The sky above
the 40,000-audience Piazza will be lightened up by
glorious fireworks and surprises when the clock strikes
at twelve, marking a brilliant overture to 2004. The
event will be broadcast live on TVB Jade.
