Skywalk X
A World's First Only at Macau Tower
AJ Hackett Macau Tower is proud to
announce today the official launch of Skywalk X, the
latest creation by adventure maestro AJ Hackett, who
now takes the concept of Skywalk to a brand new level
of exhilaration.
Double World-Firsts
Since the formation of the joint venture
between AJ Hackett and Shun Tak Holdings, eight unique
urban adventures specially designed for the Tower
have attracted thousands of visitors to share the
excitement ranging from taking a casual stroll around
the Tower's pod to the ultimate test of stamina by
climbing vertically up and down the Tower mast. This
summer, Skywalk X takes the adventurers to walk on
the outer rim of the Tower with a height exposure
of 233 metres above ground. A holder of two world's
first, Skywalk X is an outdoor walk offering the utmost
height exposure while the application of an overhead
rail safety system is the first of its kind.
Must Walk the Walk Before Talk the Talk
Skywalk X takes those adventurous up
to 233 metres for an exhilarating stroll along the
outer rim 1.4 metres wide. No handrail at all, participants
will feel the thrilling altitude without a single
interference of glass wall or grate. This brand new
adventure welcomes group experience of up to a maximum
of 20 participants. Anyone ready for beating the fear
will find Skywalk X a rewarding challenge.
Safety First
Safety is the number one priority behind
the development of each AJ Hackett- designed adventure.
At Skywalk X, safety is guaranteed by a world-first
overhead rail system with material and facilities
imported from France. Participant will wear harness
and safety belt that links with the overhead rail
system, making the X experience absolutely free and
well-controlled.
AJ Hackett and Macau Tower
AJ Hackett Macau Tower is a joint venture
between AJ Hackett and Shun Tak Holdings; and it is
Hackett's first and only destination in the Greater
China region. Hackett has been very pleased with bringing

About Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre
The Macau Tower is the 10th tallest
freestanding tower in the world. The 338-metre Tower
anchoring four public levels of outlets includes a
revolving restaurant, a lounge, a double-height Observation
Lounge and an Outdoor Observation Deck. The Convention
& Entertainment Centre houses world-class meeting
and exhibition facilities. The Macau Tower, managed
and operated by Shun Tak Holdings Limited ("Shun Tak"),
