MOP$150,000 to Macau Workers Social Welfare
Foundation
Co-hosted by Macau Tower Convention
& Entertainment Centre and Warner Bros.
Pictures International Distribution, the
charity casino theme party held right after
the film premiere of OCEAN'S ELEVEN successfully
raised a total of MOP$150,000 within 2 hours.
The proceeds has been donated to Macau Workers
Social Welfare Foundation of the Macau Federation
of Trade Unions.
Ms Pansy Ho, Chairman of Shun
Tak Management Services Group Ltd, handed
over a cheque of MOP$150,000 to Mr Pun Hon
Veng, President of the Direction, and Mrs
Pun Iok Lan, President of the Macau Federation
of Trade Unions in the presentation ceremony.
Ms Ho said in the ceremony,
" The unemployment rate is increasing now
due to the worldwide economy recession.
As a private entity in Macau, we want to
donate the proceeds to Macau Workers Social
Welfare Foundation so as to care or help
the workers in need."
Macau Tower is the 10th tallest
freestanding tower in the world. The 338
m Tower anchoring four public levels of
outlets including a revolving restaurant,
a double-height Observation Lounge, and
an outdoor observation deck. Along the Tower,
the Convention & Entertainment Centre houses
world class meeting and exhibition facilities
as well as several theme restaurants and
an upscale shopping floor. While the Outdoor
Plaza features a children playground, a
Lotus fountain, and a boardwalk along the
seaside for all visitors to enjoy. The latest
tourist spot of Macau is owned by Sociedade
de Turismo e Diversoes de Macau, SARL, and
managed by Shun Tak Management Services
