Macau Tower celebrated this year's International Labor
Day with special holiday festivities, including live entertainment,
delicious Portuguese/Macanese cuisine and exciting activities
for young and old. Authentic, colorful Portuguese folk music
and dance performances provided ideal photographic opportunities
for thrilled tourists and visitors. In the air-conditioned
lobby area, traditional folk crafts were on display. Chinese
paper cutting, face painting and portrait drawing were just
a few of the activities visitors could experience for themselves.
Magicians dazzled the crowd with amazing tricks and while
clowns performed for the kids.
The special holiday snacks and cuisine was a favourite,
especially the freshly baked Portuguese egg tarts and sangria
wine punch. What's more, a sumptuous buffet in the revolving
360° Café featured authentic Portuguese/Macanese
dishes created for the holiday, along with popular Chinese
and international dishes. Lua Azul Restaurant offered fine
Chinese cuisine from various provinces, including dim sum.
And to cap off the entertainment over the holiday period,
movie lovers were treated to the debut screening of Spiderman
in Macau Tower's Theatre.
